Sarj was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, when he was 19 years old he made the move to Sydney, Australia and was there for just over 10 years. In this time he did a lot of studies, work and play. After making the move to New Zealand in 2013 a lot has happened; he is now married, has 2 dogs, settled in Mamaku, Rotorua and has welcomed a baby boy in December 2017, little Vincent Van Hada. And recently in August 2020 a baby girl Tyla Mira-Joy Hada.

Sarj is a fully qualified Chef, as well as a Chef Lecturer and has worked for Manukau Institute of Technology in the past but currently, he is working for Toi-Ohomai Institute of Technology in Rotorua.

He works full time but still finds the time to Paint & Tattoo, he draws a lot of inspiration from his favorite artists such as Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, Brett Whiteley, Arthur & David Boyd, Willem De Kooning, Francis Bacon, Picasso and many more, including artist from among his own family and friends.

His most recent works are Stencil spray paintings, Bursts works and black & gold paintings, ideas and inspiration coming from weather, books, movies, artists, musicians, political movements, and key times in history.
